Accredited Trainers
We are happy to announce that we have now accredited 42 professionals internationally who are ready to deliver training in the 3-STEP approach.
To expand global capacity for equitable practice, UCL’s team designed a nine‑month international accreditation course. This online course brought together practitioners with experience in Informal STEM learning spaces and makerspaces, supporting them to:
- Deepen their expertise in the 3‑STEP approach
- Learn to deliver equity‑oriented professional development for the sector
- Adapt the approach to be contextually relevant for their community
- Build a portfolio evidencing their training practice and impact
The course combined interactive workshops, pre‑/post‑session activities, optional monthly clinics, implementation work with regional practitioners, and a final assessed portfolio. Successful participants are now accredited 3‑STEP trainers, equipped to strengthen equitable practice across their regions. You are welcome to either look through the offering from each hub or check out the list of accredited trainers.
